Sanctuary Concert - Derry (10 Oct 2008)
Tickets will be available in a few hours for the Sanctuary concert on November 10th which will take place in the stunning Millennium Forum in the walled city of Derry. Musicians taking part include Nóirín, Moya Brennan, size2shoes, Nassau Royal and special guests, including St Anne’s Primary School Choir.
The charity benefiting from the concert will be Foyle Women’s Aid, a charity that works tirelessly to shelter women and children in Ireland’s Northwest. Tickets vary depending on seating: £9.50, £14.50, £17.50, £35.00
Free Nóirín song (09 Oct 2008)
You can download a free Nóirín track on Celtic MP3s. 'The Song of Wandering Aengus' is from the Sanctuary album, which benefits victims of domestic violence in Ireland - women, children and men. Download the track and if possible, purchase the Sanctuary album. It is available worldwide via download or physical album, all stores mentioned at the Official Sanctuary website. Nóirín features on various songs including 'Mhorag 's na Horo Gheallaidh' (Himbo Hokio) along with Moya Brennan of Clannad and her sons, Eoin and Mícheal of size2shoes.

Nóirín TG4 Documentary (25 Sep 2008)
Nóirín tonight appeared on the TG4 documentary 'I bhFócas'. Nóirín was the guest of photographer Seán Ó Donghaile. Nóirín guided Seán in the one-hour programme through her favourite places and landscapes including Glencairn Abbey. You can now watch the programme online at tg4.tv (opens in new window - will resize). In the end, Nóirín chose her favourite photograph.
You can purchase one of the photographs taken during the programme at Peter Cox's official website, taken in the picturesque Clare Glens, as chosen by Nóirín.
Nóirín & Amen Schedule (22 Jul 2008)
Nóirín Ní Riain and Amen have just released their scedule of confirmed dates for 2008 and a few 2009 dates. For information go to the 'Events' page and click on a date for full information. Keep in mind that workshop dates sell out extremely quickly, therefore it would be important to book early. Nóirín, Mícheál & Eoin are very excited about their upcoming performances, including Cathedral concerts and charity performances. This year marks the thirtieth since the release of Nóirín Ní Riain's debut album 'Seinn Aililiú'. To mark this special anniversary, special content will be added to the new 'Thirty Years' section, including downloads and a special message from Nóirín. From humble beginnings, to academic songstress and from story-teller to global performer, Nóirín Ní Riain has become one of Ireland's most loved cultural protectors and promoters. Nóirín Ní Riain and Amen in Derry! (17 Jul 2008)
It has been confirmed that Nóirín will take part in the upcoming Sanctuary concert in beautiful Doire Cholmcille (Derry!). Sanctuary is a collective of musicians who recorded an album in Glenstal Abbey in aid of the victims of domestic violence. All profits go to three charities based in and around Limerick. Profits from the concert in Derry will go to various charities, supporting victims, around the Derry area.
You will also be able to purchase the Sanctuary album after the concert, or online now if you would like to have it signed afterwards. Joining Nóirín and Amen are Moya Brennan, Nassau Royal and many other amazing artists from Ireland and a few over-seas.

Noirin on Agnes Browne (14 Jul 2008)
Nóirín Ní Riain played a small cameo role in Agnes Browne, a film starring Anjelica Huston (The Witches, 1990), who also directed and produced the film. Last month the film was broadcast worldwide, and over the next few months will be broadcast on various channels around the world. The film, released almost a decade ago also has a soundtrack featuring Nóirín and has been remastered and rereleased. For information on the film and all broadcast dates, please click here.

Welcome to the new Theosony website. Amen have just released their début album. Made up of Nóirín Ní Riain and sons Eoin and Mícheál P. Ó Súilleabháin, the new album contains a large array of repetoire, made up of both religious and traditional song. We hope you join the mailing list, and enjoy the sounds in the music section.
